Chicago Router Works

What leaves the shop

Cut clean.
Think deep.

Choose CNC routing, laser cutting, or 3D printing—the process that fits the material, the detail, and the way your finished piece needs to live in the world.

01 / CNC routing

Shape the whole sheet.

Letters, signs, pockets, lattices, windows, frames, and full 3D carving. CNC routing gives you controlled depth, crisp repeatability, and the freedom to move beyond a flat cutout.

02 / Laser cutting

Make the fine line.

For crisp cuts and etched detail in paper, cardboard, card stock, illustration board, acrylic, plexiglass, and luan. Ideal when the small edge is the whole point.

03 / 3D printing

Build the odd shape.

For parts, props, and forms that are easier to build layer by layer. Bring the model, the measurements, or the rough idea and we will talk through the right next step.

A good file is a head start

Start with what you have.

Vector art is the quickest path to a clean result, but it is not the only one. We can work from a hand drawing, physical object, raster image, or common CAD formats. If the file needs prep, we will tell you what that means before the work begins.

Best case

AI, PDF, EPS, DXF, SVG
